Come to re-invigorate and re-focus your yoga practice and put life back in perspective... where it belongs.
Thursday Feb 22, 7-9pm:
Jason Bowman Masterclass
Mastery is developed in yoga alongside the skills of humor, creativity, relationship and concentration. Join well-known San Francisco teacher Jason Bowman in a challenging but accessible flow class intertwined with playful takes on arm balances, twists and backbends.
Friday Feb 23, 11am – 1.30pm:
Everyday practice - A fresh start
This workshop will hit a reset button and provide tools to more fully engage in regularly-led classes. In a way that is neither dry nor overly-intellectual, we will give context to the vinyasa practice, especially as related to core strength, breathing and transitions between poses.
Friday Feb 23, 2.30 – 5pm:
When we say a person knows what they’re talking about, we’re not referring so much to what’s being said, but rather how it’s being said, to the obviousness of experience behind words. This workshop will be an inspiring look at how to truly be in the room while teaching and practicing, how to see and read students' bodies, and how to use cueing, adjusting and sequencing in a way that sets everyone up for success. Teachers as well as students of all levels are encouraged to join!
Saturday Feb 24, 11am-1.30pm:
Handstand and forearm stand
The arm balancing poses are most difficult in their demand to do many things at once in the body. Very often people have breakthroughs in arm balances just by the slightest change in frame of reference. This class will be just that—a new look at familiar but difficult poses.
Saturday Feb 24, 2.30 – 5pm:
The reason why we feel good after a yoga practice is because the postures come together to reorganize the manner in which energy moves through the body. This workshop will be a fluid practice that applies everything covered over the weekend and will conclude with a slow and rejuvenating restorative session.
