Pilates is an innovative and safe system of mind-body exercise that contributes to overall fitness and assists with the well-being of the mind. Pilates focuses on the quality of breathing, rhythmic inhalation and exhalation during the exercise, as well as body alignment.
It is an accessible way to build strength in your core muscles for better posture, balance and flexibility.

About Sheena,
Sheena began her journey to becoming a fascial release with movement/ Pilates Instructor, studying Classical Ballet from a very young age. Obtaining a Teachers Diploma in ballet ( 1976) at the University Ballet School CT SA. Raising five children in South Africa, Aerobic classes gave her a chance to be herself for an hour, which lead her to qualify as a fitness instructor. Teaching many types of classes. Pilates entered her life while pregnant with her last child it completed the circle. The Pilates like Ballet gave back discipline, flow, well being and a balanced life style. She studied with ‘The Pilates Center’, Colorado USA 2009, completing the nine hundred hours to become a certified Pilates Instructor. Now Sheena has added Fascial Release studying with CPM Education UK. The enjoyment in watching clients posture, self esteem, pain shift and change makes her day interesting and challenging.
