This 1977 Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award Winner (Best Play), "The Shadow Box" is a compelling and beautifully discovered story about self-realization and sensitive perceptions, often as funny as it is deeply moving and eternally relevant. Its themes are universally relatable. The play follows three terminally-ill patients and their families as they cope with the reality of their illnesses and how the relationships with their loved ones are affected and unfold.
