It was the release of Vader’s third demo album, Morbid Reich in 1990, that introduced the band to commercial frequencies and international renown. Morbid Reich became one of the most successful metal demos ever, selling nearly 10,000 copies. Vader’s success and influence in the genre have since grown tenfold. The band has released ten studio albums to date and inspired American rock bands like the Eagles of Death Metal and Queens of Stone Age.
