The organising committee of the Al Samalia Summer Heritage Camp is back this summer to launch its latest edition of activities for all children and teenagers! The event will be held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President's Representative, Chairman of the Emirates Heritage Club.
These activities will connect the citizens with the forefathers to promote the national identity and preserve the national heritage. There is also an emphasis on infusing the spirit of citizenship amongst the emerging younger generation to strengthen their adherence to customs, traditions and national heritage.
Located 21 kilometres north-east of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, Al Samalia Island is a popular attraction to a number of official delegations, as well as tourist groups, due to its distinctive wildlife and marine environment.
The Al Samalia Summer Heritage Camp will feature activities such as:
