Fairmont Dubai launches Halloween-themed pitch-dark dining experience
Dining in the dark concept Noire is setting up a very creepy hospital canteen…
Who in their right mind would ever dine in a pitch black hospital canteen that may have a terrifying “woman dressed in white” creeping about? Well, unless there’s a five-star gourmet experience to be had that make the scares worth it…
Dubai’s ‘dining in the dark’ restaurant Noire at Fairmont Dubai is setting up a month-long haunted hospital canteen experience for Halloween, and its amping up with fear factor by telling its guests a terrifying story.
Legend has it the site that’s now Fairmont Dubai used to be a hospital some 55 years ago, where patients mysteriously started disappearing. No one knows where they went, but now, a young dark-haired woman, dressed in white, who can every now and then be seen wandering around the floors of the hotel.
Brave enough to try it out? Kicking off on Tuesday October 1 until Thursday October 31, guests can take on the 90-mintue (freaky) dining experience from Mondays to Saturdays, from 7.30pm.
Guests will be treated to a three-course gourmet dinner, along with a few creepy sounds from the lady in white if she’s about. There will also be a post-dining reception (this time with the lights on) to discuss the featured menu with the “ch(i)ef-surgeon”.
It isn’t all doom and gloom, as all nurses are equipped with night-vision goggles, to assist patients throughout their journey in a fully blackened out setting.
If you’re brave enough, be sure to call +971 4 311 8316 or email email@example.com. Prices start AED360 with soft drinks, and AED399 for the grape package.
