Start the morning by retracing the footsteps of Bedouin and their beloved camels on a traditional camel caravan through the desert. Unmount your camel to set up traditional majlis (Arabic for ‘place of sitting’) and watch an extraordinary falcon show with a Bedouin and his beloved falcons and Saluki dog.
Receive a traditional Bedouin welcome as your local hosts will accompany you on a walking tour of the Bedouin village, introducing you to the significant traditions and daily rituals of their culture. The Bedouin village is built out of raw materials like goat hair and is based next to a beautiful desert oasis in Al Marmoom Desert Conservation Reserve.
Watch live cooking demonstrations at the food stations and see how Arabic coffee is prepared over a fire in the desert. Share breakfast with Bedouin the traditional way, with a shared plate and eat with your hands if you are keen for an authentic encounter with Bedouin cuisine. Afterwards, watch and take part in a traditional performance.
