The Dubai Women’s Cycling Challenge for women and girls of all ages, welcomes participants of all abilities, from elite experienced riders to recreational cyclists and novices. It is dedicated to promoting female health, wellness and fitness in the UAE as well as the sport of cycling for women and girls.
The event will take place Friday 25th September 2020 on the Al Qudra Cycle Track in Al Marmoom Desert Conservation Reserve and organised under the umbrella of Dubai Sports Council, Dubai Women Sports Committee and in association with the UAE Cycling Federation.
The Challenge takes participants through the beautiful Al Marmoom Desert Conservation Reserve on its world class cycle track. They can race, ride and enjoy the scenery of one of the most beautiful desert terrains in the world, taking in the landscape and protected wildlife.
The Dubai Women’s Cycling Challenge supports Al Jalila Foundation and proceeds from the event will be dedicated to its paediatric program which funds children’s life- saving treatment in the UAE, supports research and offers hope to countless children and their families
Prizes and gifts will be awarded to the top three rankings in each age category.
The Riders Village situated at the Last Exit in Al Qudra, offers fun and refreshments for the whole family, including medical screening and food outlets.
