INFO
Efficient management of solid waste is a huge global challenge. In the GCC region (Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, UAE and Oman), where most countries have the highest per capita waste generation across the world, the scale of the challenge faced by civic authorities is even greater. Rapid industrial growth especially in the energy industry, construction boom, increasing population and rapid urbanization have all contributed to this escalating waste problem. Preliminary estimates put the total volume of solid waste generated in the GCC region at around 120 million tons per year. This event aims to present innovative and sustainable solutions for all types of municipal, industrial and healthcare wastes.
The 10th Kuwait Waste Management Conference & Exhibition is the premier event for the recycling and waste management industry in the GCC region. It will address a wide variety of waste management issues in an effort to answer some of the burning questions facing our environment, health, industry and economy. These issues include collection, forwarding, storage, reprocessing and recycling of industrial, healthcare and residual waste.
The event presents a platform to explore latest technologies & products and find best practices to successfully manage waste in a cost effective and environmentally friendly manner. It assembles leading industry players, waste management solution providers and consultants to address and discuss challenges and strategies for waste minimization, collection, treatment, disposal and recycling.
The 10th Kuwait Waste Management Conference & Exhibition will be held in a setting in which all participants can share ideas and solve problems. Delegates will have the opportunity to hear papers and keynote presentations, participate in the panel sessions and attend social events to provide opportunities for technical interaction and discussion.
