A Complete Medical Qigong System Five Animal Flow is the most ancient dynamic Qigong system created by the famous Chinese Medicine practitioner, Hua Tou (110-207 A.D.). Hua Tou is known as the Father of Chinese Medicine. The five animals are the powerful tiger, the graceful deer, the solid and rooted bear, the agile monkey and the flying crane. Each animal is related with a different element from the Chinese Medicine 5 Element System. Each animal evokes a different emotion. Different animal Qigong movements connect to different meridians, acupuncture points and organ systems to detoxify and strengthen them. During these classes, you will learn one of the 5 ancient Qigong forms: Tiger Form Tiger is related with the metal element. It squeezes out the lungs are related with the emotion of grief. Tiger transforms grief into courage and happiness. It has strong downward movements of the metal element. It strengthens and stretches the shoulders, grip strength, legs, bones and posture. Deer Form Deer's movement is flowing like water as it is related to the water element. Deer strengthens the kidneys which helps improve libido, courage and will power. It also helps relieve lower back pain. Monkey Form Monkey is related to the element of wood in the 5 Elements, which is related to anger. Monkey transforms anger through playful movements into forgiveness and joy. It also stretches and strengthens the neck, shoulders and back as well as healing for the eyes. Bear Form The Bear movement is solid and rooted into the earth as this is related to the Earth Element and the spleen. Bear strengthens digestion and elimination. It strengthens and stretches the legs with deep stances, grip and finger strength and strong bending lateral movements. Bear helps release worry and anxiety bringing the feeling of support of nurturing. Crane Form Crane movement is expansive and rising like the element of fire. It opens up the chest and pumps the heart. It helps to calm you, bringing you feelings of peace and tranquility. It relieves tight shoulders and chest as well as strengthens the legs and back. The class will start with 14 Meridian Qigong Warm-Up, followed by learning one Qigong form each week and will finish up by Standing Qigong Meditation and Closing. Please wear comfortable sport clothes and shoes for this class. Instructor: Natalia, Senior White Tiger Qigong Instructor My journey into the energy practices began long time ago. I think the awareness and some understanding of energy has been with me my entire life, leading me to where I have come already and where I’m going to still arrive. This has been a truly wonderful path, and one of the highlights of it was Qigong, an ancient Chinese practice that I have been learning, practicing and teaching since 2016. Qigong has brought many amazing things into my life and made some transformative changes. It lets me feel connection throughout my entire body, connection to myself and to the world around me; feel the energy flow and create this flow. Qigong is much more than just a physical movement, it is a spiritual practice that focuses on health and wellbeing and brings peace of mind. I’m very much looking forward to sharing this sacred knowledge with you during this workshop. This class is limited to 5 people.
