If you’re checking off your 30x30 at the beach, don’t miss out on the Under Armour Dubai Fitness Challenge, which is back for another thrilling full-day competition this year. Four different events will run through the day as part of the #UADXBChallenge. While the first event is open to participants of all abilities, the tasks become increasingly difficult as the day goes on. Each event is ranked and has cuts offs, so fewer participants will progress to the succeeding levels. Get ready for bootcamp-style workouts and races that’ll test your speed, stamina and strength. Prepare to fill wheelbarrows, crawl under cargo nets, pick up sandbags or submerge yourself in an ice bath. By the day’s end, a male and female winner will be crowned as the Under Armour Athletes of 2020, giving them a great opportunity to collaborate with the brand and be sponsored for a full year! If you think you have what it takes to come out a champ, register in advance and start practising. There’s more to look forward to at the venue, before and after the challenge, with fun activations, games and photo opportunities for everyone. There will also be training sessions available, hosted by InnerFight instructors, and an ask-the-coach station for those looking for advice on a whole range of fitness topics. Many restrictions have been placed in line with Covid-related measures – no spectators will be allowed and there will be different start times for women and men. Health and safety of the city’s people remains DFC’s top priority. All events and activities will be held in accordance with the Dubai Government’s health and safety guidelines.
